Carved Grizzly Bear Elm Wand

This American Elm wood wand was hand carved on one end into the form of a tiny grizzly bear head and shoulder. The other end of this slender wand is smoothed over simply for a Folk style overall and either side may be used as the main projection point. Ethically harvested, carefully de-barked, and lovingly buffed smooth by hand with a hand rubbed oil paint finish.

American Elm is a slightly flexible yet strong wood excellent for metaphysical use adding stability, grounding, and focus to spells and often is used for invoking the Goddess.

Name of Wand: Grizzy Bear Elm Wand
Size: 10 1/2" long x 3/4"
Craftsperson: Tree Pruitt
#HM170

The wood that I craft my wands from is always ethically gathered, such as those that the wind has brought down or that come from general yard maintenance -- no trees are ever harmed for harvesting. I do not use power tools -- all of the work is done by hand. I only use branches and twigs that are free of disease, and not previously "dead", so that the wood remains strong. Heat is used to both sanitize and temper green wood, which further adds to the strength.

This is a one of a kind handmade item by Tree Pruitt. The photographs show different views of the same item. Because they come from Nature no two of my handmade wands can ever be the same.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or comments. If you do not feel a connection to this wand I may be able to craft one for you.
